In 2012, while in NYC for half a year, I was contacted by GESTALTEN, a German publishing house, and asked if I would be interested in taking some photos for their promotion campaign of JIM MEEHAN'S book THE PDT COCKTAIL BOOK. I was of course interested. Not only do I love photographing fancy cocktails, I had also heard about this East Village cocktail bar Please Don't Tell from different people who love cocktails and cool bars. It was a fun shoot and afterwords I got to taste some of their cocktail, and their delicious!
AMASS FRIED CHICKEN
My favorite thing about my last trip to COPENHAGEN was the AMASS FRIED CHICKEN. Their fried chicken is not a part of the regular AMASS restaurant menu, and can only be enjoyed out of a CARDBOARD BOX and enjoyed in the Amass FLOWER and HERB garden. The fried chicken is accompanied by a spicy pickled salad and a biscuit. The meal also included a brownie for dessert! The whole meal is just crazy delicious. Eating it EAGERLY with my hands made my feel like an animal, a quite lucky and LUXURIOUS one. If you have the chance, you just have to try it. Next to the soul fulfilling (and stomach filling) meal, the bike ride out there was also beautiful; passing houseboats and charming canals, feeling the sun and wind on my skin.
A deliciously fresh, non alcoholic and non sugar SUMMER PUNCH! We discovered the recipe on Jamie Oliver's DRINKS tube. It looked really refreshing and we liked the idea of making a punch only consisting of fresh fruit, berries, boiling hot water, ice and herbs. It was super easy to make, and as said in the RECIPE , you can taste things;) And yes, I partly wanted to make it because it was so good looking.. which I think with drinks can be a valid point;)
