E and I have now been living in OSLO for about a month and we are very much enjoying it. One of our favorite things is taking long walks exploring the city, and this Sunday we did just that. Even though I have lived here before, 6 years ago in fact (up till I started my blog actually), I don't really know the city. Last time I lived here I was a student living at GRÜNERLØKKA, and anything too far from there, well I did not visit. Still, I remember noticing these really nice white castle looking houses driving into, or out of the city. I have always wanted to take a closer look, and this weekend I got to do just that. I know now that it's called OSCARSHALL, built for the Norwegian king Oscar I in 1852. I also know that it looks stunning surrounded by FALL LEAVES. These pictures were taken in August, when the summer heat finally hit Norway. We, as many others, decided to spend the day at the beach, more specifically at STRANDBAREN at STOKKØYA. This is a truly beautiful place, worth visiting all year round! To see more of the place and how we spent our day there click the picture:)
In July we attended Lina and Robert's wedding in London. It was such a nice event and it was great seeing Lina again. Britney was also there, making it even better, a sort of Berlin reunion. The last time I visited London I was a teenager and after this visit there is no doubt, it will not take that long till the next time I visit. London was great and now I have Lina there to visit too so hope to return much more often in the future!
